Embassy of the Republic of Korea in Uganda

On June 5, 2025 (Thursday), 19 soldiers from the Uganda People's Defence Force (UPDF), currently participating in the second phase of the Taekwondo Instructor Training Program supported by the Taekwondo Promotion Foundation, underwent a Taekwondo promotion test, with 11 of them successfully advancing to the blue belt level.

The promotion test was conducted in accordance with the official Kukkiwon evaluation standards, covering areas such as basic techniques, poomsae (forms), and sparring. All participants demonstrated the results of their dedicated training with sincerity and focus.

The Embassy of the Republic of Korea in Uganda will continue its efforts to promote mutual cooperation between the two countries through Taekwondo and related cultural and sports initiatives.
